In November 30,000 delegates from across the world will descend on Glasgow’s spectacular Events Campus for 12 days, to attend the United Nations 26th Climate Conference. I qualify “from across the world” given the last one two years ago in Madrid had delegates from a mere 15 countries.
The above, another hopeless Herald heading, surely untrue. Not even “pass the salt please”.
Is the New Zealand Herald’s parent company chaired by a man or a woman?
Let’s get one thing straight. China is not committing genocide against the Uyghurs as is being claimed. The word genocide has a very clear meaning, namely the mass murder total elimination of a particular ethnic group. The 1948 United Nations Genocide Convention declared genocide can also apply to targeting part of a race but that is typical UNO nonsense, re-inventing the language. If that definition had meaning there’s hardly a country in the world that’s not guilty, simply through engaging in warfare.
An Aussie bloke has gone public and released photos and other information, to prove he was the love child of Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles. We can’t pick our parents but surely, even if true, this is a classic case where someone has the opportunity to lie low and avoid such embarrassment.
