She was good at the beginning of covid and gave the country a sense of being cared for – even other countries admired her and wanted her to lead them – so the popularity grew. Sadly, this second term has been a nightmare and the cracks are showing, if you’ve noticed some of the venom coming from her in Parliament recently. At one point we thought she was good but the time has come I think. Need someone else to dig New Zealand out of the mountain of debt.
As Groucho Marx (no relation) once said ‘The two most important words in the world are honesty and sincerity. If you can fake these, you’ve got it made’.
