You have previously mentioned when it comes to dinner companions you would, as a rule, choose Labour politicians over National.
I would agree, if we are referring to personalities such as Douglas, Prebble, Bassett, de Cleene et al.
I have the greatest respect for these people, even though I would classify myself as conservative/liberal- whatever that means these days!
However, would you consider taking time out to dine with any of the present lot?
I would be interested in your thoughts.
