THE MAORI MESSAGE IN SIMPLE LANGUAGE

A maori political party led by a cowboy hat wearing attention-seeker with a grossly disfigured, fully tattooed face, endeavoured to close down our cities today.

The underlying message of this bullshit protest can be summed up simply; specifically, “we’re (part) maoris so give us money.”

He’s two centuries out of date. Back then maoris did a roaring trade tattooing captives’ heads then shrinking them, (God knows how) and selling them to museums.

The museums won’t touch them now but probably there’s some Russian oligarchs who might. Actually, I’ll kick off the bidding and offer $500 for his head, as plainly he’s not using it.

I’ll shove it on a pole in my tennis court at the end my regular tennis opponent plays at. As he is maori doubtless he won’t mind.

I wonder if he wears his hat while in the wharenui of his local Marae.

Acquiring of everything of value is the aim. The FAAFO principle applies in my opinion.

The Mad Hatters’ Tea Party Maori.

This short pithy post should be given prominence on the front page of the Herald. Obviously as an opinion piece of course.

Exactly right, it amazes me that NZ could even contemplate accommodating the wishes of these greedy , foolish, divisive, antagonistic people.

Rawiri, as a proponent of free speech and democracy I am moved to quote one Evelyn Beatrice Hall, a British author who died in 1963 and best known for her biography of Voltaire, – “I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it!”

It is not so much that I disapprove, it is the foolishness and inanity of Rawiri’s words that provoke my annoyance. The continued indoctrination of young maori to create an attitude of victimhood serves Maoridom no benefit whatsoever but, presumably, rallies the disaffected and disenchanted youth to your flag.

Do you know what would be a refreshing change from the Maori Party; A decent dose of objectivity, a decent dose of honesty and most of all, an acknowledgement of the benefits this hideous colonisation has provided for maori.
Do you include medicine, motor vehicles , aeroplanes, railways, buses, TV, Radio, why even the wheel as evils of colonisation?

I didn’t include education because as you are keen to claim, education is a tool of the colonists! It “went after the mokopuna.”

I suggest you should ask yourself on a regular basis – “Where would the maori race be today if it wasn’t for colonisation?” An honest answer might surprise yourself.

You know Rawiri, I suspect that the nonsense you expound is not actually what you believe. Actually I think it is what you need to say to keep the “angry ones” in a state discontent and disgruntlement, providing you with an audience and following of devotees.

So, yes I say, go ahead and expound your bizarre claims, because that is the right granted to you by a democracy that tolerates free speech.

But I would bet a lot of money that under tribal rule such benevolence would not be tolerated!

PS Your cultural heritage was celebrated by all New Zealanders but your constant demands for greater recognition, unwarranted control and ultimately maori sovereignty only serves to turn faces from your cause.

$600 I bid

I’m almost certain his role model is that guy with the big hat in Blazing Saddles…

Of all the dreadful failings of the last labour government, race relations is the most egregious . Years of being told that the world owes them a living and that a tiny ancestral connection to Maoridom makes you a more equal person has created a generation who believe in their own innate superiority.

I’ve always thought there is a direct correlation between the fervour of Christians and their levels of ignorance.
