A BRILLIANT PREDICTION

A couple of months back when probably to everyone’s understandable delight, the usually all-conquering Crusaders rugby team had notched us 8 losses in their first 9 games and were at the bottom of the table, the New Zealand Herald wrote an amazing editorial saying don’t write them off.

I imagine most readers would have greeted it with mirth.

As it transpired they only failed to make the cut by an unlucky points differential factor.

Had they done so, I suspect they’d have gone on to win the championship.

Tend to agree…

But like alot of what this country grew up on, its mostly going down the drain due to short sighted people in charge…

NZ had the resources to be fully independent, and be the Norway of the south…

If only our masters cared for the next generation and beyond…

Worth noting (now that the finals have been played) that the Crusaders beat both finalists in the round robin.
