LANGUAGE NONSENSE

The Post reports that Victoria University’s Council has agreed henceforth to pay all of its staff “a living wage”.

Presumably this decision follows the deaths of those hitherto not receiving it.

In the same issue The Post recounts an incident in which an off-duty police-officer was engaged in “consensual sex” inside a parked car.

This was described as “indecent behaviour”. As nearly every human that has existed (artificial insemination being the exception) has eventuated from such an action, albeit not necessarily in a parked car, it follows that indecency is natural human behaviour, failing which we wouldn’t exist.
