It’s daily evident that all of the previous established certainties about life are now on their head.
Here’s a case in point readers may have missed.
The American Cancer Society three weeks ago, released a study showing all of the previous established demographics were now reversed.
Specifically; cancer was no longer the domain of the older segment, namely people over 40, but now had a higher incident in people under 40.
Similarly, hitherto it struck males to a much higher degree than women.
That too has now reversed.
In short, the typical cancer sufferer was an older male. Now it’s a younger female.
Doubtless, research will get to the cause of this dramatic volte face but pending that discovery, to get the ball rolling, I blame Trump.

Wonder what it could be… is there a common denominator and what could it possibly be….? Its the same with heart disease, preventive measures and stents, valve replacement techniques etc. had all but defeated this scourge as the leading cause of death but now it too is knocking young folk mover. The powers that be are attacking farmers in the name of climate concerns, clean water, mudless grazing etc., orchardists and market gardeners complain their work is not worth the candle any more, Pukekohe spud growers are being rated of the most fertile land in favour of housing developments, the pork growing industry has been killed, exported to China and Poland, pine plantations incentivised on good heartland… all of our fuel requirements for the national fleet now imported with very little safety margin or strategic reserve, its almost like the powers that be know that food supply isn’t really going to be a problem in the near future. I wonder why?
Silence like a cancer grows, ipso facto, Trump is vindicated due to his incessant blathering.
Lies, lies and statistics. Without seeing it my guess the quantum of older males is similar or still increasing but a new group of younger females are showing the results of something like a newer generation of contraception drugs being used for last 20 years . As you remark the pace of change has increased and accordingly, the opportunities for the new generation . That is if mankind or the Western economies , doesn’t obliterate themselves first
I am currently listening to the Peterson Academy.

Dr Bikman could well be describing the cause and the solution to this epidemic.
My suspicion is that this reflects the 20 year focus on much better early diagnoses techniques for breast cancer coming to fruition ( which is very welcome) Older males ? Probably skin cancer, but skewed by the disproportionate death rates of young men in other activities.
As to the other uncertainties? Death Pain and Taxes.. the rest is guesswork.
