ANOTHER STUFF STUFF-UP

“… judge told 19 year-old who shared drugs with friend that later died”.

It’s unbelievable. Did the drugs later die? I presume they meant “who later died”.

There’s been a marked improvement since Stuff got rid of the madwoman editor but certainly not with the sub-editing given the shocking grammar and “Yeah Nah” almost daily captions.

NZ print media is littered nowadays with spelling mistakes and grammatical errors, sometimes even in huge headlines. Recently a tornado was called a “torando” in a headline. It doesn’t seem to be improving, probably as a result of semi literate school leavers being hired as “journalists”
