I wasn’t surprised to read of Tamati Coffey putting show-pony Rawiri Waititi in his place over neckties in Parliament.

This showed the problem being caused by the New Zealand Initiative boss Oliver Hartwich’s extraordinary sex appeal, drawing thousands of girls outside the think tank’s premises, baying for Oliver.

In his self-described state of the nation address to Party members last weekend, ACT leader David Seymour came out with some world-class tosh.

Referring to the housing supply crisis, he said, “…you’ve just overseen the greatest transfer of wealth from those who work to those who own”.

With damn good reason I mock the Dominion- Post but in fairness, it’s not all bad and has some good political journos. It offers other pleasures as well.

Once again we’re hearing talk of an inevitable inflationary age ahead, thanks to the massive money-printing. I think this concern is misplaced.
