The Stuff web-site reports a Wellington schoolboy’s father, who understandably wishes to remain anonymous, complaining about a Wellington bus driver allegedly refusing to pick up his son.
He then elaborated, saying despite the lad arriving five minutes early, the bus had already left ten minutes ahead of schedule, which hardly constitutes refusing to pick up the boy.
But then it all became clear, when Stuff quoted the father; specifically (brace yourself) “Him missing the bus and being late for school was no fault of his own”.
All credit to the bus driver for dodging picking up the lad understandably for fear he spoke with his father’s spectacular illiteracy. Listening to that is a horror no bus driver should be subjected to.
