Some time ago I predicted more books would be written about Trump than any other President. With circa 5,000 published to date, he’s currently in second place, although well behind Lincoln with 15,000.
Former BNZ Economist Tony Alexander, now an independent consultant, was widely quoted on the weekend saying, “My view is when the borders open a generation of young Kiwis will depart our shores for Australia for the higher wages on offer and lower cost of living, and to embrace some freedom after two years being locked up.”
On Sunday Sky News ran a ridiculous item along the bottom of their Australian news service, specifically,
“Western Australia to strengthen the border with Queensland.”
Garrick is absolutely spot-on with this effort. The Nats, hand in hand with ACT and NZ FIRST will coast in to office by default in the next election.
