Anecdotally, there’s a bit of a boom in residential property sales in Wairoa. Unfortunately a lot of the properties are being bought by gang members, using the proceeds of crime. A lot of people are suddenly finding out that their new neighbours are gang members. In time there will be a gang house in every street in Wairoa. No complaints from the land agents or sellers of course. Zero concern from our crime-enabling Government.
